A recognized healthcare system in New York is actively seeking a Social Worker (LMSW / LCSW) to join their growing Inpatient Behavioral Health Department. In this role, the Social Worker (LMSW / LCSW) will be responsible for identifying psychosocial issues and concerns of patients and their families and providing appropriate clinical services to meet their needs. About the Opportunity: Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: 9am to 5pm Setting: inpatient Behavioral Health Responsibilities: Conduct initial psychiatric assessment Document biopsychosocial assessments, formulation and disposition Develop comprehensive treatment plans Facilitate supportive, psychoeducational and insight-oriented psychotherapeutic interventions Participate weekly supervision Provide crisis interventions to high-risk patients, Engaging with and providing support to families Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: Master's Degree in Social Work Active New York State Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) Social Work in a Behavioral Health inpatient setting
