Job Title: Product Manager – Point of Sale (POS) Location: Plano, TX (onsite) Job-Type: Full-Time Salary Range : $100K - $120K Salary Position Overview: The Product Manager (PM) is a strategic individual contributor on the Product Development team, responsible for driving the vision, roadmap, and execution of cloud-based Point of Sale (POS) platform. Focused on customer, verification, integrations, and underwriting modules, this role ensures a best-in-class in-store and tablet-based POS experience that empowers coworkers, increases customer conversion, and delivers measurable business impact. The PM partners closely with engineering, operations, and strategic initiative teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions that integrate seamlessly with supporting systems. Reporting to a Group Product Manager, this role requires a mix of technical acumen, customer empathy, and strategic thinking. Duties & Responsibilities: Own the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for assigned POS modules, enhancing both in-store and mobile experiences. Translate customer feedback, business priorities, and operational needs into actionable product features and requirements. Collaborate with engineering to design and scale SaaS-based POS solutions, leveraging APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms (AWS experience a plus). Partner with UX/UI and operations teams to optimize workflows and coworker transaction experiences. Leverage data and analytics (Power BI) to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and inform roadmap evolution. Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS) in partnership with legal and security teams. Actively manage product backlogs in Jira/Confluence, facilitate agile ceremonies, and communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders. Collaborate with 5+ PM teammates to align POS modules and drive platform scalability and innovation. Required Experience & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience. 4+ years in product management, ideally with SaaS, POS, or retail technology. Experience with POS systems, system integrations, and retail operations preferred. Strong technical understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, and data-driven decision-making. Demonstrated ability to evolve and enhance products to improve customer conversion and operational efficiency. Strategic mindset with the ability to balance vision with execution in a cross-functional environment.
