Job OverviewRemedy Medical Group is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to work with our chronic pain patients in our Functional Restoration Program in our San Jose location. This is a highly collaborative environment working with a wide variety of professionals and specialists. Our program is growing fast, this is an opportunity to join us in the early stages! The Licensed Therapist is responsible for providing direct psychological clinical services to injured workers and services are provided through multiple modalities, including initial assessments, case management, psychoeducation classes, as well individual, and group psychotherapy. A typical caseload will include a wide variety of individuals who have been injured at work and are predominantly experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and issues related to physical pain. Art therapy is a component of the program and experience in this area is a plus. Additionally, this position will partner with the clinical team to assess current treatment and examine opportunities for improvement and will include participation in multi-disciplinary team meetings and case conferences. Therapists work closely with the pain management team to ensure that all individuals who are in our care receive high-quality clinical services. Documentation within the Workers Comp system is preferred as all of the patients served are injured workers. This is an onsite position in San Jose. Key Responsibilities:Provide individual therapy (e.g. CBT, DBT) to adult clients in an outpatient chronic pain clinic Conduct weekly psychoeducational sessions for individuals attending the Functional Restoration Program (FRP) at the clinic daily Provide brief individual therapy to individuals in the FRP and evaluate their clinical progress in the program Assessment and treatment planning for active caseload Provide clinical care informed by best practices in the field of pain psychology Refer to other modalities within the clinic as needed Document all client care in our EMR system (IMS) Provide clinical care that complies with all the legal and ethical standards Required:One or more of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychologist Work well in an interdisciplinary team as well as an individual You are committed to evidence-based practices, leveraging both innovation and proven methodologies to optimize patient outcomes Excellent communication skills with patients and staff You approach patient care with compassion, patience, and the ability to adapt to diverse needs and challenges Your passion to help others Preferred skills:Art Therapy certification or experience is preferred Bilingual Spanish is strongly preferred Workers Comp experience is preferred CPR certification is preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $114,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Work Location: In person by Jobble
