Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the the role of a Transportation Data Scientist, we/'ll count on you to:Assist on traffic engineering projects, exercise sound engineering judgment, andPerform data analysis tasks, including writing SQL queries for data aggregation and visualizationDevelop dashboards summarizing a variety of dataDevelop report documents detailing analysis methodology and outcomesParticipate in work sessions in conjunction with other staffCoordinate workload through entire project development, and ensure completion of tasks on schedule and within budgetPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsEI preferredExperience with cloud-based data analytics platforms, such as Google Big Query, Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure/DatabricksExperience with summarizing findings from analytical processesTableau/Power BISQL Query writing/Database developmentProcess-oriented mindsetProficiency with Microsoft OfficeStrong oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and ability to work in a team environment#LI-JM8Required QualificationsBachelor/'s degree in Computer Science or Management Information SystemsA minimum of 5 years of systems analysis, applications development and support experience with business applicationsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
