Job SummaryJordan Valley EMS Authority is launching a newstartup mechanic shop,and we are seeking an experiencedHeavy Diesel Mechanic (ASE Certified)to join our team. ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, repair and maintain diesel engines, hydraulics, and emergency vehicles. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on ambulances, fire trucks, and related vehicles. Maintain accurate records of service and repairs. Work independently and as part of the team to ensure fleet readiness. Willingness to pursue additional certifications, including Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT). QualificationsASE Certified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (required) Minimum 2 years of professional mechanic experience (emergency vehicles preferred). Strong knowledge of diesel systems, hydraulics, and electrical troubleshooting. Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required). Ablility to adapt and thrive in a startup environment.
