About the Position We are seeking a FFE Project Manager to oversee all aspects of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FFE) across our hospitality portfolio. This role is at the intersection of design, logistics, and project execution—ideal for someone who can translate creative vision into reality while maintaining precision, timelines, and budgets. The FFE Project Manager will work closely with our design studio, vendors, and operations teams to ensure every detail—whether a custom banquette, lighting package, or bespoke finish—is delivered seamlessly and on brand. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment that requires design sensibility, technical knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities FFE Documentation & Design Support Create and manage FFE matrices and specification books for all projects. Prepare shop drawings, cut sheets, and supporting documentation. Use drawing software (CAD, Revit, or similar) to translate design intent and coordinate with fabricators. Project Management Develop and manage detailed FFE budgets, schedules, and procurement plans. Track all FFE items from quote through installation, monitoring lead times, deposits, and delivery status. Ensure FFE deliverables align with construction and opening timelines. Maintain internal systems to track specifications, vendor communication, and costs. Vendor & Fabrication Coordination Solicit pricing, issue RFPs, and prepare PO packages with Purchasing. Serve as the main liaison between vendors, fabricators, and shipping providers. Review and approve shop drawings, prototypes, and fabrication details. Installation & Execution Develop install plans, manifests, and schedules. Oversee installation logistics, working with contractors, warehouse teams, and onsite leadership. Lead punch list process and troubleshoot any styling or delivery issues. Budget & Logistics Oversight Maintain up-to-date cost logs, markup summaries, and invoicing records. Partner with Purchasing to coordinate orders, deliveries, and warehouse tracking. Proactively flag potential risks or overages to leadership. Requirements & Competencies 5+ years of experience in FFE project management, design, or fabrication (hospitality experience preferred). Deep knowledge of custom furniture, finishes, and vendor management. Proficiency in CAD/Revit or similar drawing software; self-sufficient in documentation. Experience creating FFE matrices, specification books, and tracking systems. Strong organizational skills; capable of managing 100+ line items across multiple projects. Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and specification software (DesignSpec, Studio Designer, or similar). Excellent communicator; thrives in collaborative, high-output environments. Bonus Experience (Not Required): Background in fabrication, industrial design, or operations. Familiarity with fast-track restaurant or hotel project timelines. Experience with custom fabricators or hospitality developers. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
