The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong writing skills, courtroom exposure, and a proactive approach to managing cases.Key Responsibilities:·        Handle all phases of the litigation from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal.·        Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda with minimal supervision.·        Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses and clients for testimony.·        Attend court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.·        Manage client communications and expectations; participate in case strategy and development.·        Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation matters. Qualifications:·        J.D. from an accredited law school; admitted and in good standing with the Florida Bar.·        Minimum 5 years of litigation experience in a law firm or comparable legal setting.·        Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.·        Courtroom and deposition experience preferred.·        Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.·        Excellent judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.Preferred:·        Experience in (e.g. commercial, employment, construction, or IP litigation)·        Trial preparation or actual first- or-second chair trial experience is a plus·        Experience working directly with clients and opposing counsel.
