Pharmacy Assistant - Spokane Valley, WA Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8-Hour Shifts (Start between 7:30-9:00 AM) Occasional Saturday On-Call Are you a licensed Pharmacy Assistant in Washington State looking to make a meaningful impact in your local community? Join our collaborative and patient-focused team in Spokane Valley, where your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help ensure patients receive the care they deserve. What You'll Do As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll be a vital part of our operations team, ensuring that medications and supplies are prepared, packed, and delivered with precision and care. You'll work closely with pharmacists, nurses, and patient service reps to keep things running smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities: * Accurately gather medications, supplies, and documentation for patient orders using a double-check process. * Coordinate timely deliveries and pickups using local courier systems and update delivery instructions as needed. * Pack patient orders according to temperature-sensitive guidelines to maintain medication integrity. * Restock inventory and rotate stock based on expiration dates and lot numbers. * Assist with receiving, cleaning, and testing returned equipment, ensuring proper documentation and maintenance tracking. * Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment by sanitizing work areas and managing waste. * Support training of new team members and participate in quality improvement initiatives. * Help with receiving stock, verifying packing lists, and managing inventory using the "first in, first out" method. What You Bring * Active Washington State Pharmacy Assistant License (or ability to obtain before hire - $70 registration fee) * High School Diploma or GED * 0-2 years of experience in a pharmacy or warehouse setting * Basic computer and data entry skills * Strong organizational and customer service skills * Ability to read, write, and perform basic math * Knowledge of medical supplies and safe lifting techniques is a plus Why You'll Love Working Here * Be part of a supportive, mission-driven team * Gain hands-on experience in pharmacy logistics * Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule with occasional weekend on-call * Work in a clean, organized, and safety-first environment Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
