Project Manager

Position Overview We are seeking a Sr Project Manager to lead the execution of complex lab TI projects, including a high-profile engagement with Apple in Sunnyvale. This is a 4-month contract-to-hire role with strong potential for long-term placement based on performance. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, leadership, and a deep understanding of construction project management-particularly from the General Contractor (GC) perspective. Key Responsibilities * Lead full-cycle project management from preconstruction through closeout * Manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client expectations * Supervise and mentor Project Engineers and junior staff * Drive progress and resolve issues on fast-paced lab TI projects * Conduct OAC meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders * Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and timely delivery * Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet project goals * Represent Milroy professionally in high-stakes client environments Qualifications * 8+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably lab TI * Proven success managing projects on the GC side (not just Owner's Rep) * Strong leadership and team-building skills * Excellent communication and client-facing abilities * Experience with Apple or other high-tech clients is a plus * Proficiency in project management tools and scheduling software * Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Preferred Traits * Enthusiastic and proactive problem-solver * Comfortable leading teams and mentoring junior staff * Able to distinguish and articulate the differences between GC and Owner's Rep roles * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Committed to delivering high-quality work and building long-term relationships Compensation & Benefits * Competitive hourly rate during contract period * Potential for full-time employment with benefits based on performance * Opportunity to work on high-impact projects with industry-leading clients Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $57.00/hr.
