Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Job Description The role involves adhering to established guidelines for cleaning all soiled equipment returned to Central Processing. You will be responsible for the cleaning and assembly of all respiratory boxes. Cleaned equipment must be properly staged as per established practices, and all rechargeable equipment should be checked for inspection compliance and functionality. Equipment needing reinspection must be taken to clinical engineering, with accountability maintained through established recording methods. Communication with the supervisor upon completion of tasks and availability for reassignment is essential. Maintaining an orderly work environment and accurately communicating any problems to management are key aspects of the role. Responsibilities * Follow established guidelines for cleaning all soiled equipment returned to Central Processing. * Clean and assemble all respiratory boxes. * Properly stage cleaned equipment using established practices. * Inspect rechargeable equipment for compliance and functionality. * Take equipment needing reinspection to clinical engineering. * Use established recording methods for accountability of production. * Notify the supervisor upon task completion and be available for reassignment. * Maintain an orderly work environment. * Accurately communicate all problems to management. The role requires attention to detail and effective communication with management and team members. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
