Job Title: Phlebotomist - Avondale PSC Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our patient service center team. The primary responsibilities include drawing patients' blood, processing specimens, and ensuring accurate entry of biological specimens into our computer system. Additionally, you will prepare samples for analytical testing and manage their distribution to the appropriate analytical area. You will also perform specified analytical tests as assigned, adhering to the Code of Conduct. Responsibilities + Draw blood from patients and perform specimen processing in a patient service center. + Collect and receive biological specimens and accurately enter them into the system. + Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the proper analytical area. + Handle pre and post aspects of analytical testing. + Perform specified analytical testing as assigned. Essential Skills + Proficiency in blood draw and specimen processing. + Strong experience in laboratory and phlebotomy procedures. + Excellent patient care skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 1-3 years of prior phlebotomy experience is preferred. + GED or High School Diploma is required. + Must be comfortable working in a team environment. Work Environment You will work inside a Patient Service Center (PSC) alongside two or more phlebotomists. The center operates Monday through Friday with tentative hours from 7 AM to 4 PM, though availability from 6 AM to 5 PM is preferred. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
