Special security assignments may be available during non-event days/nights. The security team is a provider of direct service to our guests and must always exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor.This role pays an hourly rate of $45.00Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matchingEVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadlineResponsibilitiesRespond to requests for assistance from staff and visitors for a variety of security issues (fire, medical emergencies, etc.)Performs all event and non-event security duties as assigned.Conducts building safety inspections (Normally pre-event and post event safety checks).Follow all established security procedures.Answers information requests from staff and guests during events or as needed.Protects equipment, materials, and structures throughout the work schedule.Provides regular security functions within the Complex and related areas, prior to, during and after all events.Responsible for clean, neat appearance with complete CC deputy uniform.Turn in all lost and found items to the Event Manager on duty, when applicable.When requested, provide escorts of persons to and from locations within the complex. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Management.QualificationsMust be an active-duty Cumberland County Deputy.Able to work events as assigned.High school diploma or equivalent required.Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language required.Ability to work beyond traditional business hours, including nights, weekends and select holidays, is required.Must demonstrate strong attention to detail.Must demonstrate a positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
