What you will doIn this vital role you will serve as a scientific liaison to the medical/scientific community and will be responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with prominent experts and clinicians throughout the US. Responsibilities Network and partner with medical thought leaders, academic institutions, large group practices, medical directors, managed care decision makers, and pharmacy directors in alignment with applicable compliance, legal, and regulatory guidelines. Understand, integrate and effectively communicate scientific/medical information and the commercial value of products to the medical community and other key internal and external audiences. Prioritize and work effectively in a self-directed manner in a changing environment, including ability to obtain, integrate, and communicate customer feedback. Pair customers’ unmet needs with available internal resources. Collaborate with all functional areas to identify opportunities and needs that can be addressed via communication of scientific, medical, and health economic information. Identify potential new speakers and train on scientific content for sponsored external speaker programs. Participate in national and regional conferences and meetings to support Medical/Clinical strategy, obtain competitive information, stay abreast of clinical trends, and maintain relationships with key investigators. Work with medical affairs and clinical development teams to evaluate external clinical research collaboration opportunities and facilitate IITs and company-sponsored trials. Monitor the competitive environment for advances and provide feedback to senior leadership on competitor initiatives. Basic Qualifications Doctorate degree and 2 years of Medical Affairs experience OR Master’s degree and 6 years of Medical Affairs experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Medical Affairs experience Preferred Qualifications Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. (other doctoral degrees considered) 2+ years in a medical science liaison role in a biotech or pharmaceutical company Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Ability to travel up to 60% for territory management and conferences Willingness to work up to 15-hour days due to travel Ability to learn and use new business applications across devices Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional, proactive demeanor with strong interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills What you can expect from us We support your professional and personal growth with competitive benefits and a collaborative culture.
