We are: _FAA Repair Station NA3R703L, _ _Textron Beech/Cessna Piston Service Center. _ _Garmin Authorized Service Center, _ _Jet Warbird Maintenance Facility,_ _Parts Department_ _Phillips 66 Fixed Base Operator (FBO) _ So that we dont have a disconnect of expectations, I want to be specific about the qualifications we are looking for, and the responsibilities we would expect of the new person we hire. We are specifically looking for a General Aviation Piston Experienced, Licensed A&P Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years piston experience. An A&P Mechanic with the tools, knowledge, experience and ability to perform General Aviation Piston Engine Aircraft Annuals with little, or no supervision from the outset. Drug Testing is mandatory.We work on some pretty diverse projects like Jet Warbirds, T-6s, Stearmans, Pipers, Cirrus, Cessna, Beechcraft, Experimental L-39s L-29s, MiGs & Homebuilts, we expect the A&P Mechanic to be able to handle single and twin engine piston GA aircraft Troubleshooting, Repair & Annual Inspections, Engine & Cylinder Changes, relatively unassisted. Sheetmetal experience is a plus when determining pay rate. For that experience level, we will help pay relocation expenses and first month rental costs for apartment housing to assist the person while they find more permanent housing in the vicinity. Pay will start at $25/hr and a final negotiated rate will depend on your proven experience and capability. ACL also provides: Uniforms, 50% of the Employees Medical, Dental & Vision, 4% 401K Match, 24 PTO hours per year, 1 week Paid Vacation after one year, 2 weeks after two years and 3 weeks after five years, 7 Paid Holidays per year and Profit Sharing. No Nevada state income taxes are a plus as well. Secondly, we hope to find among the people we hire, a person that has the abilities to be (or become) a Lead Mechanic/Floor Supervisor, able to assist fellow mechanics in troubleshooting, answer their questions, and helping them in understanding their tasks, while working on their own project. That person will ultimately receive a higher rate of pay and would become the interface between the Shop Manager and less experienced Techs. That person will help to keep the floor productive, on schedule, and well trained.
