You'll join a collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality solutions and developing the next generation of embedded products.This is an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise while taking ownership of projects from concept to delivery. You will work on small, embedded VoIP systems, enhancing existing software and developing prototypes for new product lines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and be instrumental in defining, implementing, and refining software that drives critical product functionality.This is a great opportunity for a Software Designer to join a growing technology company, work remotely, and have a tangible impact on next-generation VoIP products.The Role:Develop firmware and software for small, embedded VoIP systemsMaintain and enhance existing software for new functionalityWork on prototype development for new productsEnsure network, VoIP, and audio device requirements are metCollaborate with electronics engineers and other team members on developmentThe Person:Strong experience in Linux OS/Linux kernel for embedded appliancesProficient in VoIP systems: Asterisk, SIP, Multicast/RTP audio, WebRTCExperience with USB audio devices and audio codecs: G711, ALaw, ULaw, G729, SPEEX, OpusSkilled in microcontrollers (STM32, ARM, PIC, MSP430) and embedded systemsUS-based, able to work Eastern Time Zone hoursWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitable candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
