Associate Attorney

Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our firm. This is a general practice position with a primary focus on family law. The position is based out of our Houma and Thibodaux offices, with regular travel required to Courts in St. Mary Parish, Assumption Parish, Terrebonne parish, and Lafourche Parish. The ideal candidate is comfortable commuting between our Houma and Thibodaux offices, and confident in handling domestic cases, and ready to represent clients effectively in Court. DutiesRepresent clients in family law matters, including custody, divorce, support, and protective orders. Attend hearings, trials, and other proceedings in St. Mary, Assumption, Terrebonne, and Lafourche Parishes. Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the Court. Manage caseload efficiently while providing excellent client service. RequirementsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Louisiana. 2+ years of experience in family law preferred. Strong written and oral advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently. Willingness to commute between Houma and Thibodaux office and travel to surrounding Courts.
