They are under $5B AUM and are looking for a CFO. The CFO will serve as a key member of the leadership team, with responsibility for overseeing finance, accounting, treasury, and fund operations, while partnering closely with the investment professionals and external stakeholders.This role is particularly attractive for someone who thrives in a fast-growing alternatives platform and wants to have a seat at the table in shaping strategy, infrastructure, and capital formation.ResponsibilitiesDirect all accounting, finance, tax, and treasury operations.Oversee the preparation of financial statements, capital account reporting, and investor reporting packages.Ensure accurate, timely reporting in compliance with industry standards.Manage external audits and coordinate with third-party administrators.Oversee fund accounting, NAV calculations, fee structures, and capital calls/distributions.Ensure proper expense allocations, reconciliations, and valuation policies.Coordinate with compliance and risk with fund governing documents and regulatory obligations.Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts; arrange for debt at fund level.Operational leadershipBuild and scale financial infrastructure to support the firm’s growth and multiple investment vehicles.Implement financial systems, processes, and technology for efficiency and scalability.Manage relationships with auditors, fund administrators, custodians, and legal counsel.Provide financial insights to guide strategic decision-making and operational planning.The hours here are 9am-5pm and they are in the office 2x per week (Tue and Thur).Cash compensation will be between $300K - $400K.Qualifications10-20 Years of Fund Accounting or Fund Finance ExperienceMust currently be working at a FundCPA or CFA Preferred, Not RequiredSeniority levelExecutiveEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/Auditing, Finance, and ManagementIndustries: Venture Capital and Private Equity Principals, Investment Management, and Financial ServicesInferred from the description for this jobMedical insuranceVision insurance401(k)Paid maternity leavePaid paternity leaveDisability insuranceGet notified about new Chief Financial Officer jobs in San Francisco Bay Area. #J-18808-Ljbffr
