Job Description

Sayres is seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst to support the United States Navy and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Washington, DC. This position will need to have on-site presence 2-3 days a week in the area of Washington Navy Yard.Responsibilities include:Support the development of DoD Contracts and Acquisition Documentation for ACAT II - IV DoD Programs as well as Abbreviated Acquisition Programs (AAPs), OTAs/MTAs and other acquisition and contracting effortsAssist the government in developing and executing acquisition and contracting strategies to include but not limited to: Acquisition Strategies, Procurement Strategies, Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), System Engineering Master Plans (SEMP), as well as prepare statements of work, CLIN Structures, and CDRL forms, and may be required to conduct market research, etcAssist acquisition and contracting professionals to ensure acquisition programs are executed in compliance with DoD and NAVSEA policies and proceduresWork in a collaborative team environment and be comfortable working with matrixed personnel as well as both military, civilian, and other contracted personnelSkills that will fit best:Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in DoD Acquisition Programs with knowledge of the FAR, DFAR, DoD 5000 requirements, DoD contracting processes, and DoD Earned Value Management (EVM) guidelinesMinimum of 5 years of Program/Project Management experience / 5+ years of DoD Program Office experienceExperience supporting the planning, monitoring, and execution of contracts under various ACAT designationsBackground supporting NAVSEARequired Qualifications (Clearance & Education/Experience):Active Secret Clearance requiredMust be a U.S. CitizenProficiency with MS Office applicationsExperience with Acquisition Strategies, Procurement Strategies, Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), System Engineering Master Plans (SEMP), as well as prepare statements of work, CLIN Structures, and CDRL formsEducation & Experience Requirements:Associate's degree and 10 years of relevant experience, orBachelor's degree in a relevant field and 7 years of relevant experience, orMaster's degree and 5 years relevant experienceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, gender identity, disability or veteran status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
