We believe in a unique culture, total compensation, workplace flexibility, and care for the team.Visit our Career Page to learn more about our team: You’ll DoLead the development and execution of a global communications and PR strategy that brings leadership and founder’s vision to life across all channelsOwn and evolve the brand narrative, messaging architecture, and storytelling frameworks for press and owned mediaDefine and oversee major brand narratives, product launches, and cultural moments, crafting stories for media and consumersCollaborate cross-functionally with marketing, brand, creative, and executive teams to align communications with business goalsServe as a strategic partner to leadership and the founder, providing media training, executive thought leadership support, and high-level narrative developmentMonitor cultural trends and media landscapes to identify opportunities for relevance and storytelling innovationOversee global agency network and expansion in line with rhode’s growth goalsManage executive reporting and tracking across all PR and communicationsWhat You’ll BringBachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or related field15+ years of experience in global communications, public relations, or brand storytelling in fashion, lifestyle, beauty, or culturally driven brands8+ years of experience leading communications teams or managing high-impact projects globallyProven success in shaping brand narratives that build cultural relevance, community connection, and business impactStrong editorial sensibility with the ability to translate brand DNA into compelling storiesDeep understanding of media strategy, new media ecosystems, and both traditional and digital spacesExceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience developing press materials and executive messagingAbility to manage multiple projects and timelines with clarity and precisionEntrepreneurial mindset suited to a fast-paced, high-growth environmentPassion for community-driven and founder-led brandsOther Details For ConsiderationLocation for Position: Los Angeles or remoteIn-office requirement: If located in LA, 3 days a weekReports to: VP of Global MarketingSalary range budgeted for the position: $180K-200KThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this position.
