Platform Engineering Manager

Overview Platform Engineering Manager, Order Management is a leadership role focused on the design, development, and implementation of order management systems in an agile environment. The role leads a team of engineers and product owners and promotes a product engineering ecosystem that embraces DevOps practices and enables efficient software deployments. Responsibilities Engineering manager background required Lead and develop a team of engineers and product owners, providing coaching and mentoring for both technical and career development Manage multiple work streams and stakeholder expectations Partner with Cloud and Digital Platform teams to manage security compliance, metrics, and OKRs Maintain knowledge of modern software delivery practices including release/deployment, code review, infrastructure as code, TDD, and QA testing Foster an environment that promotes DevOps philosophies and empowers teams to deliver high-quality software Align product backlogs and prioritization in an agile delivery environment Ensure actions align with larger company goals and IT Division objectives Maintain knowledge of technology and design patterns including Google Cloud Platform, .NET, and C# Navigate difficult conversations and communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and senior management Key Qualifications and Skills 3+ years' experience leading software development/product engineering teams 3+ years' experience developing and deploying enterprise cloud services and web applications 3+ years' experience in an agile delivery environment with strong knowledge of agile practices Experience with test-driven development Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines Proven DevOps practices in team environments Executive presence with professionalism and commitment to excellence Agile certifications recommended Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Gmail) Estimated Compensation Range $135,000-$180,000 annually plus RSUs.
