6 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Job Title Production Director - UPS / MVBusiness Function/Department Power Electronics Systems/ProductionSales Territory, if applicable N/AOverviewGeneral Role DescriptionDefine, develop, and manage the business unit's (BU) uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and medium voltage (MV) drive production operations to ensure achievement of the BU's Mid-Range Plan (MRP) commitmentsResponsibilitiesRole AccountabilitiesDesign and staff an organizational structure that can effectively ensure successful production and warehouse operationsEnsure the effective design, development, implementation, measurement, and management of production to increase capability and performanceAllocate resources within the context of the BU's and the Company's strategic direction and economic health to ensure alignment with business unit and company priorities for productionDiagnose gaps between the BU's current and desired delivery and inventory performance and deploy strategies to resolveEnsure client issues are resolved, coordinating with appropriate personnel, escalating as appropriateMonitor and identify internal and external trends and issues, with potential impact on production execution; or manufacturing, industrial, or operations management; or business or finance; or equivalent via education and/or work experience1 year of experience managing managers3 years of manufacturing management or other related management experience7 years of experience in an electrical manufacturing environmentDemonstrated thorough understanding of manufacturing business operating financesDemonstrated experience in the application of continuous improvement/lean tools, such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, or Transactional LeanDemonstrated success managing financial results to plan in a manufacturing or industrial services business;
