Position Summary: The General Warehouse associate is responsible for moving, locating, stacking, and loading/unloading materials within the warehouse environment manually. This role supports efficient receiving, storage, and outbound shipment processes while upholding strict safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: * Load and unload goods from trailers, trucks, and containers using appropriate material handling equipment. * Verify quantities and inspect for damage upon receipt and before shipment; report discrepancies. * Maintain organized, safe, and clean work areas; adhere to 5S principles. * Prepare outbound orders for shipment, ensuring accurate labeling and routing. * Use pallet jacks, shrink wrap, and other equipment as needed to secure loads. * Follow all safety procedures, including PPE usage * Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervision promptly. * Collaborate with supervisors, drivers, and warehouse staff to meet daily productivity and quality targets. * Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Qualifications: * Basic math and reading comprehension skills to perform measurements, count accurately, and read labels/instructions. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily productivity goals. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to stand, walk, bend, and maneuver for extended periods; capable of lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. Physical Demands: * Prolonged standing, walking, and manual material handling. * Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Work Environment: * Warehouse environment with typical industrial noise levels. * Exposure to dust, chemicals used in cleaning and maintenance, and varying temperatures depending on season.
