We partner with public agencies and companies to furnish infrastructure technology that meets today's mobility needs.As a member of the customs team, you will support the company's business units in all global trade compliance and supply chain security (C-TPAT) matters, ensuring optimal and efficient full compliance with applicable customs regulations and internal requirements and advising on global trade compliance matters. You'll use your savvy presentation and interpersonal skills to influence business practices to implement & apply automated solutions. What your day-to-day will look like: Ensure full compliance and timely resolution when assigning HTS classifications for import and export shipments.Collect, analyze, and evaluate company data and processes to identify risks & opportunities for standardizing and streamlining processes across the US.Collaborate with various partners (business segment management, department leadership, members of the Customs Team) on cross-department activities promoting process optimization.Identify, collect, and monitor critical metrics for developing business strategies and presentations to management.Develop, implement, and carry out guidelines, solutions, and plans to optimize processes.Supports regular training to targeted business groups on import compliance and supply chain security topics.Responsible for implementing Customs-related processes within the business ERP (SAP) &/or Global Trade Management system. To thrive in this role, you have: BS Degree or equivalent of education and experience in a related fieldMinimum of 5-8 years of related experience - primarily determining USHTS classifications.Subject matter expertise on customs valuation and reconciliation requirements and US Free Trade Agreements (FTA) and other US Preferential Trade Programs.Ability to work independently using project and presentation skills - analytics, implementation strategies, metric measurement, and continuous monitoring expectations and deliverablesAbility to travel up to 10%If you're ready to take on the challenge of revolutionizing mobility in the United States, we want to hear from you.
