As a Software Engineer (ML & MLOps) on the Menace Platform Software Engineering team, you will solve a wide variety of problems involving networking, autonomy, systems integration, robotics, and more, while making pragmatic engineering tradeoffs along the way.What You’ll DoOwn the software solutions that are deployed to customersWrite code to improve products and scale the mission capability to more customersCollaborate across multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionalityCreate and analyze metrics that are leveraged for debugging and monitoringTriage issues, root cause failures, and coordinate next-stepsPartner with end-users to turn needs into features while balancing user experience with engineering constraintsTravel up to 30% of time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real worldRequired QualificationsOwn software spanning Menace Platform: command & control, planning, autonomy, optimization, mesh platform.Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or PhysicsAt least 4-10+ years working with a variety of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, Rust, Go, JavaScript, etc.Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysisAbility to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code basesA desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact1-2 years of experience with applied ML or MLOps, including experience in some or all the following areas:Developing and deploying machine learning models for production applicationsUtilizing machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learnBuilding and maintaining data pipelines for training and inference such as Kubeflow, MLflow, MetaFlowImplementing ML algorithms to solve domain-specific problemsUS Salary Range: $166,000—$253,000 USDHealthcare BenefitsUS Roles: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans at little to no cost to you.UK & AUS Roles: We cover full cost of medical insurance premiums for you and your dependents.IE Roles: We offer an annual contribution toward your private health insurance for you and your dependents.Additional BenefitsIncome Protection: Anduril covers life and disability insurance for all employees.Generous time off: Highly competitive PTO plans with a holiday hiatus in December.
