Join to apply for the Senior Engineer I - Cloud Platforms - Kubernetes role at lululemonWho We AreAbout This TeamCore ResponsibilitiesAre a main contributor in Agile ceremoniesProvide mentorship and facilitate engineering training for a team of EngineersPerform and delegate engineering assignments to ensure production readiness is maintainedConduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization effortsConduct research to guide product development and tools selectionProvide an escalation point and participate in on-call support rotationsActively monitor key metrics and report on trendsParticipate in our Engineering Community of PracticeContribute to engineering automation, management or development of production level systemsContribute to project engineering design and standards verificationPerform reliability monitoring and support as needed to ensure products meet guest expectationsQualificationsCompleted Bachelor’s degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligibleFive to eight+ years of engineering experienceAbility to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology spaceBuild and manage Amazon EKS clusters, including creation, node group configuration, and IAM role assignments.Deploy and maintain Kubernetes workloads using kubectl, Helm, and Kustomize for scalable, version-controlled application delivery.Design and configure VPC, subnets, and security groups optimized for secure and efficient EKS networking.Administer EKS-managed add-ons like CoreDNS, kube-proxy, and VPC CNI for streamlined cluster operations.Implement IAM roles for service accounts (IRSA) to enable fine-grained, secure permissions for Kubernetes workloads.Manage sensitive data through AWS Secrets Manager or Vault to ensure secure and compliant secret handling.Set up logging with CloudWatch and monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana to maintain system health and visibility.Leverage tools like eksctl, AWS CLI, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD for automated provisioning, deployments, and GitOps workflows.Must HavesAcknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for your life.Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great municate with honesty and kindness and create the space for others to do the same.Lead with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure.Foster connection by putting people first and building trusting tegrate fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn’t take yourself too seriously.Additional NotesCompensation And Benefits Package$136,200 - $178,700; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
