Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$190,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yrSenior Director - Accounting & Finance - Direct Hire and Executive SearchWe're exclusively partnering with a privately held consumer-goods company in the Texas Hill Country, about an hour north of San Antonio, to appoint their next CFO. The role is high-impact and hands-on, partnering closely with ownership across multiple revenue channels. The schedule is hybrid: on-site 3-4 days per week for the first six months, then about one day per week thereafter, making this an ideal C-suite opportunity for a senior finance leader based in Greater San Antonio.Financial Reporting & Performance InsightsEnsure accurate, timely daily/weekly/monthly/annual financial reporting with analysis to inform ongoing management decisions for executives, department leaders, owners, lenders, and auditors.Translate results into clear variance commentary, KPIs, and operational takeaways.Accounting Operations, Controls & ComplianceDesign, maintain, and continuously improve the company's accounting policies, control environment, costing, and management information systems.Oversee transaction processing and close calendars; maintain GAAP integrity and audit readiness.Planning, Budgeting & ForecastingLead annual operating, capital, and cash-flow planning; partner with leadership on short- and long-range financial models and investment cases.Maintain a rolling 13-week cash-flow forecast and proactively manage cash needs and sources.Treasury & Capital StructureManage banking relationships and financing arrangements to ensure adequate, cost-effective liquidity for operations and growth initiatives.Operations PartnershipParticipate as a key member of the leadership team; implement operational best practices; oversee benefits programs to balance competitiveness and cost effectiveness.Regulatory, Tax & Legal CoordinationEnsure timely, accurate federal/state/local tax filings and compliance.Coordinate with internal/external counsel on non-routine legal matters, contracts, and claims.Identify and administer available grants and incentives, where applicable.Contracts & Risk ManagementNegotiate and administer leases and operating agreements; maintain robust contract records and market-value diligence.Protect the enterprise through insurance programs and broader risk management (legal, environmental, administrative).Technology OversightOversee outsourced IT functions (desktop support, network administration, infrastructure, hardware, print/copy) to ensure reliability and cost discipline.Strategy & External RelationsPartner with ownership and leadership to shape strategic direction through market, profitability, ROI, and channel analyses.Serve as primary point of contact for banks, insurers, auditors, tax advisors, consultants, and relevant authorities.Team LeadershipEnsure Finance has the talent, structure, and tools to meet near- and long-term goals.Clarify roles, coach, and develop the team; implement training and performance expectations that elevate execution.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting/FinanceCPA or CMA preferred; MBA a plus.5-7+ years in a manufacturing industry environment or 5-7 years of cost controls/cost accounting experience.Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of operating performance and KPIs.Strong knowledge of U.S. tax compliance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
