We’re looking for a Director of Tax to lead our client's high-performing tax team and drive strategic impact across our firm.About the Role:As Director of Tax, you’ll be the go-to expert for complex tax matters, overseeing quality control, mentoring a talented team, and collaborating with firm leadership to shape the future of our tax practice. This is more than a compliance role—it’s a chance to lead, innovate, and grow.What You’ll Do:Provide expert guidance on complex individual, business, and trust tax returnsLead quality assurance to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and complianceMentor and develop tax professionals through training and coachingCollaborate with Partners and Managers to optimize workflows and resource allocationStay ahead of tax law changes and ensure team-wide complianceSupport onboarding and review of new staff and internsIdentify tax planning opportunities and value-added services for clientsChampion a collaborative, values-driven team cultureWhat You Bring:CPA certification (required)7+ years in public accounting with a strong tax focusDeep knowledge of individual, business, and multi-state tax issuesProven leadership in managing teams and reviewing complex workExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExperience with Lacerte and QuickBooks (a plus)Benefits:Medical insuranceVision insurance401(k)We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
