The Tax Manager is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive tax strategies and coordinating tax return preparation. Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of delivering excellent client service, with exceptional organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. You will join a team of dynamic, collaborative, and client-focused professionals who are focused on delivering on our founding core values: Integrity, Entrepreneurial, Inclusion and Connection.The salary range is $120,000 - $145,000 per year, plus annual bonus.Duties And ResponsibilitiesMaintains periodic contact with clients and acts as a liaison between clients and the firm for various activities.Strengthen existing client relationships by working closely with integrated teams across EP Wealth to provide holistic wealth management solutions.Proactively research industry trends and become a planning resource for clients and team members when recommending wealth strategiesReview and analyze tax returns for high net-worth individuals, real estate investors, and closely held businesses (i.e., corporate, partnership, and LLC)Stay up-to-date with the latest tax legislation, ensuring accurate and compliant tax planning strategiesResearch tax issues and draft technical correspondence as it relates to tax planningDevelop and deliver tax-saving strategies for real estate investors and closely held businessesPartner with Advisors in client solicitation efforts and generating wealth management strategies for our UHNW clients and prospects.Manage coordination and integration of tax services, analysis, and department projects.Proactively engage in firm wide initiatives developing tax services, building firm relationships, supporting business development and client retention activities.Publicly represent the tax strategy department.
