This is a senior-level role responsible for building the division from the ground up — including strategic planning, operations, hiring, sales, and service delivery. You will drive the business model, implement processes, and ensure exceptional service quality in commercial and/or residential HVAC start-up services.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipDevelop and execute the strategic plan for the HVAC Start-Up Division.Define business goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and growth metrics.Collaborate with executive leadership to align divisional goals with company-wide objectives.Division Setup & OperationsOversee setup of facilities, tools, systems, and logistics for start-up services.Build and lead a team of HVAC technicians, project managers, and support staff.Ensure all HVAC start-up procedures meet regulatory and manufacturer standards.Project ManagementDirect and oversee HVAC system start-ups, commissioning, testing, and client hand-offs.Establish protocols for quality assurance and safety compliance.Coordinate with engineering, construction, and service teams to ensure seamless delivery.Business Development & Client RelationsIdentify market opportunities and develop partnerships with contractors, developers, and vendors.Drive sales strategies to secure new business and maintain key client relationships.Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.Analyze financial reports to optimize profitability and pliance & Quality ControlEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal HVAC codes and safety regulations.Implement quality control procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).10+ years of experience in the HVAC industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Proven track record in launching or scaling HVAC divisions or business units.Deep knowledge of HVAC start-up, commissioning, and testing procedures.Strong leadership, operational, and financial management skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Familiarity with Atlanta/regional HVAC market and licensing requirements.Preferred CertificationsPMP or equivalent project management certificationLEED or similar sustainability credentials (optional)What We OfferOpportunity to lead and shape a new division from the ground petitive salary with performance-based bonuses.Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.401(k) with company match.Vehicle allowance or company vehicle (if applicable).Career advancement in a growing company.Employer DetailsSeniority level: DirectorEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: ManagementIndustries: HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing and ConstructionGet notified when a new job is posted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
