We strive to create an inclusive environment focused on psychological safety, empathy, and human connection so employees of all backgrounds can thrive.THE CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCATED IN PST OR MST TIME ZONE AS THIS ROLE WILL FOCUS ON THE WEST ACCOUNTS.ResponsibilitiesDevelop deep and lasting relationships with technical stakeholders at Amplitude/'s largest customers and prospectsFunction as subject matter expert on Amplitude/'s suite of products including product analytics, experimentation and audiencesCombine product expertise and competitive knowledge with sales acumen to identify pain points and decision criteria, and define solutions tied to desired business outcomesOwn the development of custom presentations, demonstrations, and prototypes to articulate use-cases and value and secure the technical winCollaborate with account executives, product managers, product development, and customer success to ensure a seamless buying experienceSupport trial periods with potential customers to ensure effective learning and engagement with the platformBecome an in-house expert on Amplitude/'s product, stay up-to-date on releases and new features, and assist in training new SEs and other sales team membersDocument and communicate product feedback and new requirements from the field to our product management team to inform the roadmapTravel to customer sites as needed to deliver demos and presentations and build strong relationshipsQualificationsYou have product or digital analytics experienceYou are eager to raise the bar for Solutions Engineering at AmplitudeYou have a history of developing and deepening relationships with customersYou enjoy working with high-performing teammatesYou are technically inclinedYou are excited to collaborate with high-performing, highly collaborative, highly communicative coworkersMinimum Requirements7+ years of software pre-sales or solution engineering experienceBackground in cloud infrastructure, digital analytics, product analytics, marketing analytics, data analysis, experimentation, and/or hands-on experience with SQL and BI toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with public speaking and committed to personal development to become a trusted expert for customersAbout AmplitudeThe Company: Amplitude is a team of humble, lifelong learners who help each other succeed.
