Lake Regin Human Service Center - Rolla, ND - Administrative Assistant Be part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover. In this role, you will be responsible for providing primary front desk coverage, supporting the admissions process, preparing telemedicine equipment, managing phone calls, and assisting clients with registration. Duties include communicating with insurance companies, generating reports, and following up on both client and office-related needs. You will also support staff with administrative tasks such as faxing, emailing, filing, compiling documentation for admissions and referrals, and scanning documents into the electronic health record system. Additional responsibilities include conducting fingerprinting services, managing office purchases, managing office hoteling spaces and conference rooms, and coordinating the use and maintenance of State Fleet vehicles. A strong ability to multi-task, problem solve and shift from one task to another abruptly will be needed. Knowledge of insurance verifications and processes, as well as community resources will be helpful. To be considered for this position, you are required to have a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma and two years of office support, clerical, or secretarial work experience. Coursework in a vocational office support or closely related program may substitute for the work experience requirement on a year-for-year basis if it provided the knowledge and skills required to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
