Find your future with us.Boeing Mission Systems Phantom Works organization has an exciting opportunity for an experience to senior level/ lead Mission Systems Crew Systems Engineer. This position will be part of a proprietary program located in Berkeley, MO.Proprietary programs develop complex, highly integrated, advanced systems, enabling future growth for Boeing and our Department of Defense (DoD) Customers. The selected engineer will work in a high-performing cross functional team primarily focused on Mission Systems Crew Systems.This position will directly report to the Core Avionics team within Mission Systems on a Phantom Works Proprietary program.Contingent Upon Award: This position is contingent upon awardPosition Responsibilities:The lead will provide technical oversight to crew systems hardware engineersPerform trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnects and system performance and to optimize design Researches specific technology advances for potential applicationDesigns hardware, software, and interface specificationsArchitect Network and Processing solution Define and conduct tests to validate performance of designs to requirementsUsing CAMEO/MBSE Analyze, translate, and implement requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications, showing traceability throughout the product lifecycleAssists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirementsSupport project management by providing work statement, budget, schedule and other required inputs and by reporting project statusInterface with multiple disciplines, internal and external customers, suppliers, and multiple levels of the organizationThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistryLevel 5: 14+ years' related work experience with a bachelor's degree OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experienceElectrical engineering experience involving system requirements, functional decomposition and allocation, integrated design, analysis and evaluation, verificationExperience with avionics hardware development, design, production, and project managementPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Development and qualification, physical and functional integration and design and resolving supplier technical issuesExperience with Mission Systems Crew Systems DisplaysExperience with Electrical engineering involving system requirements, functional decomposition and allocation, integrated design, analysis and evaluation, verificationExperience with Avionics Hardware development, design, production and project managementTypical Education/Experience:  Leve 5: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
