Our analysts and engineers support high-profile, major acquisition programs.We are committed to our nation's Military and Veterans through our partnership with Hiring Our Heroes, offering transitioning service members valuable civilian work experience through an individual fellowship. The program is open to all ranks and experience levels.During this externship, service members will work on-site in mid to senior-level roles, receiving on-the-job training while supporting a 32-hour workweek. The program includes professional development, networking, and training focused on leadership principles, company history, stakeholder engagement, product and service overview, and core responsibilities. Our goal is to offer a full-time position at the end of the externship.QualificationsRequired Qualifications (multiple levels): Experience in developing professional reports impacting decision-making, a current Secret clearance, and active participation in the Hiring Our Heroes Skillbridge Fellowship.Junior:Bachelor's degree in math, physical or computer science, data science, analytics, or related STEM fieldUp to 3 years of data analysis and assessment experienceMid:Bachelor's degree in relevant STEM field4-10 years of data analysis and assessment experienceSenior:Bachelor's degree in relevant STEM field10+ years of data analysis and assessment experienceDesired Qualifications:Top Secret ClearanceAdvanced DegreeExperience with programming/query languages such as R, Python, SQL, or CypherProficiency with relational or NoSQL databasesPrevious experience with government agenciesExperience supporting technology and investment decisions for national securityResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will shadow and provide advanced analytical support to SPA customers in national security and homeland defense, applying scientific, systematic, and critical thinking techniques to inform decisions. Responsibilities include applying mathematics, statistics, computer science, and latest technologies to design analytical tools, workflows, and visualizations.The candidate may be required to:Design and execute analytical methodologies using modern tools and innovationEvaluate data and recommend actions to address challengesCommunicate data and analysis findings to technical and non-technical audiencesDevelop data standards and frameworks for collection, integration, and managementImplement data exploration, analytical methods, operations research, and modeling toolsDevelop, deploy, and document models and analytic methodsCreate software to extract and transform data for analysisDevelop automated algorithms for data managementCreate plans to meet deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr
