Overview Senior VP, Operations in a large, reputable organization within the Insurance industry. This leadership role focuses on account retention, carrier management, client service development, and cross-functional leadership to improve efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness. Base pay range $250,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr Responsibilities Lead efforts in account retention, carrier management, and client service development. Drive commercial and personal lines product support to maintain high client satisfaction. Lead and participate in projects to improve efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness. Develop and support account managers and client service teams to retain clients and renewations, and identify growth opportunities within existing clients. Observe and report market or service challenges to shape overall service delivery. Help build and create a service platform for production team to support new sales opportunities. Provide leadership to ensure client retention and cross-selling to current client programs. Review and revise commercial and personal lines procedures to stay current with technology, market changes, and E&O compliance. Develop and analyze metrics such as expirations, overdue activities, and book revenue to support continuous quality improvement. Drive product and service enhancements to attract clients and prospects with reliable service delivery. Hire, train, and develop account management and client service staff to secure renewals and high client satisfaction. Coach and counsel staff to ensure a consultative approach to client management and retention. Coordinate trainings and cross-training, including WorkSmart, and participate in industry conferences as appropriate. Ensure seamless account services processes across locations and support teams. Manage standardized renewal processes including carrier requests and client proposals. Serve as a primary contact for personal and commercial lines with carrier partners, in coordination with leadership. Support account management with access to carrier partners, new vendors, and beneficial products. Lead the roll-out of WorkSmart software in the organization and conduct monthly business reviews with leadership teams. Other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications In-depth understanding of all aspects of commercial and personal lines coverage. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills for in-person and virtual sessions. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to engage clients, colleagues, carriers, and vendors. Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ability to learn new software. Strong knowledge of insurance markets, products, services, ratings, and underwriting procedures. Demonstrated experience in team leadership and achieving department goals. Competencies Goal-oriented with strategic planning capabilities. Education and Qualifications College degree preferred or comparable work experience. 15+ years of experience in the insurance industry with a focus on Operations, Client Retention, and New Business opportunities.
