About the CompanyThe company is a leader in premium surfaces such as stone, quartz, and porcelain serving both residential and commercial clients.Position SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic Sales Director to lead customer acquisition and drive revenue growth. This role is designed for a strategic thinker who thrives on building strong relationships, creating innovative sales strategies, and delivering measurable results.As Sales Director, you will develop and execute growth strategies, tactics, and action plans that directly impact the success of the business. Your leadership will ensure we not only meet but exceed annual sales targets. Beyond hitting the numbers, you’ll play a vital role in shaping how we connect with customers, anticipate trends, and expand our market presence.This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who enjoys leading from the front, inspiring teams, and turning vision into action. If you are motivated by growth, energized by collaboration, and excited about the chance to influence both strategy and execution, this is the opportunity for you.ResponsibilitiesLead business operations and drive customer engagement by coordinating sales support activities and collaborating with account managers and cross-functional teams.Partner closely with the Regional Vice President and leadership to develop and execute strategic sales and account development initiatives.Collaborate with sales and marketing support teams to align customer initiatives with business priorities.Participate in customer meetings, capturing and documenting key discussions and follow-up items.Perform ad-hoc tasks as needed to support business objectives.Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports for management review.Own responsibility for achieving and exceeding sales targets within assigned territories and accounts.Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the customer base and achieve growth goals.Build and nurture long-term, trusted customer relationships.Partner with clients to understand their business needs and objectives, ensuring tailored solutions.Deliver compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate value propositions.Maintain in-depth knowledge of category-specific landscapes, competition, and industry trends.Monitor and report on market forces that influence tactical budgets and strategic account direction.Perform other related duties as assigned.Position QualificationsProven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.Expertise in developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive growth and expand customer bases.Strong ability to build and sustain long-term, trusted client relationships.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels, including executive and C-suite.Demonstrated success in managing the sales process from planning through close.Ability to clearly articulate product and service differentiation and competitive positioning.Experience developing client-focused, innovative, and achievable solutions as a sales leader.Outstanding listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.Highly organized, focused, and self-motivated leader with a proactive mindset.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce CRM.Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience required.Education and ExperienceMinimum of five years of sales leadership experience including direct oversight of dustry background inbuilding materials, cabinets, kitchen & bath, flooring, or related sectors strongly preferred.Skilled at positioning and promoting solutions rather than products alone.Collaborative team player with the ability to influence and motivate others across broad networks.Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to foster open, transparent communication with colleagues.Deep understanding of the evolving sales environment, buyer journey, and market demands.Strong presentation, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.Business acumen with the ability to apply content knowledge to solve complex business issues.Experience with budgets, forecasting, and metrics management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
