Governed by Safety and Quality, this role requires commitment to ethics and fair business practices.Position SummaryThe President, US Operations will oversee all functions of the company’s expansion into the US, and will be accountable for leading strategic initiatives and converting them into actionable operational and business strategies, with full P&L responsibility. This includes defining and implementing the Company’s business development and product offering strategic direction through close cooperation with the CEO and management team of Corrpro Canada. The President will ensure the US business operates according to best industry practices and local regulations, and complies with corporate governance and policies set by the Board of Directors.ReportingThe position reports to the CEO of Corrpro Canada and will work closely with the COO, CFO and other key management.Position Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesSupervise, manage and direct operations for all divisions of the US entity;Directly involved in the development and maintenance of top Tier strategic accounts.Develop new business, including product development and assess new market opportunities;Oversee Company’s US operations to ensure safety, quality, service and cost-effective resource management;Develop strategic plans to advance the Company’s US vision and strategic goals, in order to generate significant shareholder value creation;Plan, develop and implement strategies for generating revenues and profitability for the Company within the US, including M&A, sales and marketing, operations and human resources;Lead Sales Team, drive major contract negotiations and pricing strategies to achieve revenue growth targetsBuild strategic relationships with customers;Strong executive presence with the ability to engage effectively with EVP-level stakeholders at major client organizations.Exceptional networking skills to identify and leverage new opportunities, enhance the company’s market position, and build lasting relationships with key industry players.Direct ReportsThis role has direct responsibility over the following functional areas in the United States:Business DevelopmentSales & MarketingEngineeringField OperationsAdditional Candidate RequirementsFor the successful performance of this position, an individual must be able to achieve and/or perform the essential duties of the position. Listed below are representative requirements for job knowledge, skill, and/or ability.Experience: 15 years in the Energy industrySuccessful experience as President, General Manager or Regional Manager of a medium size company or division ($25-100m revenues)Pipeline integrity experience is requiredVery familiar with US clients and possessing a good network at Executive VP and C-suite levelA well-grounded professional, strategic thinker, excellent with customers and employeesTrack record of executing strategies and delivering expected financial performanceAn organized and analytical individual with well-rounded technical & business acumen.Education: This position requires an Engineering Degree, Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Economics or Business. An MBA or equivalent is desirable.Leadership Skills: Position requires an individual to have strong interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and empower, to be a strong communicator able to take initiative and function independently. Ability to motivate others and achieve results via influence as well as direct authority.Personal Attributes: A self-starter with a high level of self-motivation.
