Our goal is to create a platform where Dashers feel genuinely protected and valued, choosing DoorDash because of the comprehensive safety net we provide and the respect we show through our technology investments.About the RoleAs the manager for the Dasher Insurance team, you will lead a growing team of mobile, fullstack and backend engineers. You'll tackle high-visibility technical challenges like building real-time safety monitoring systems, creating ML models to analyze and mitigate incidents, and engineering robust platforms for insurance product integration and delivery.You will be responsible for driving the technical vision, strategy, and execution of the team charter. You will also collaborate greatly with product, design, operations and peer engineering teams to deliver solutions that fundamentally improve Dasher safety while unlocking new business opportunities from insurance products distributed through our platform.
