We’ll challenge your skills, talents, and abilities and reward your success.BenefitsWork in a fun environment with great peopleGreat benefitsJohn Hancock 401kPaid Time offAflac Supplemental InsuranceFree gym memberships and discountsWe Want Talented Individuals WhoHave a positive, upbeat, and outgoing attitudeAre passionate about hospitality and excellence for our membersCan work in a dynamic, fast-paced, goal-oriented environment without sacrificing quality of serviceHave fitness industry experience (preferred)Love to constantly learn and growWhat You’ll DoAssemble and manage a fully engaged and high-performing membership team that aligns with company initiatives and cultureEnsure that project/department milestones and goals are met and adhere to approved budgetsEnforce all club rules, policies and proceduresKeep the club fully staffed through review of applications, interviewing, and making hiring recommendations to the general managerDrive results and continuous improvement in Service and Fitness through strong business acumen, relationship-building, individualized communication, and development and accountability of department head teamPlan, organize, and coordinate daily/weekly/monthly club functions to maximize club profit and loss goals with a member-centric focusRecruit, hire, train, develop and nurture friendly and inclusive team members to support member needs; place the right people in roles where they can impact members’ goalsTrain, develop, and mentor club leaders through coaching, accountability, and example-settingProblem-solve obstacles with and for your team to guarantee an outstanding member and team member experience; create a culture of trust through delegationGuide department leaders in establishing goals, applying club strategies, and achieving club and career goalsCross-train to expand thinking and solutions-oriented skillsFoster common responsibility and teamwork across club functions to maintain a positive member and team member experienceCollaborate with internal and external partners to grow our member communityMust-Haves3-5 years of progressive management experience supervising 3-10 employees with measurable development outcomes5-7 years of broad retail/hospitality/operations experience with high execution in operations and service, focusing on turnoverExperience managing P&L and trend reports; strong math and analytical skillsExperience creating or rebuilding teams in a collaborative environmentExcellent communication skills, both oral and written, with emphasis on listeningExperience turning around operationally or financially deficient departments or teamsProven ability to manage through strategy and delegationHigh School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferredCPR and AED certification requiredBilingual preferredThis role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs, and to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; professional demeanor and appearance in a clean uniform are required.How to Apply / MiscThere are additional notes about compensation: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year.All aspects of employment including hiring, promotion, discipline, or discharge will be based on merit, competence, performance, and business needs.
