They are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to support their finance team during a high-volume period.Position SummaryThe Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding, maintaining vendor records, and assisting with month-end close. This role requires prior experience with 2-way and 3-way matching to ensure proper invoice validation against purchase orders and receiving documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess a high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.Perform 2-way and 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.Verify invoice approvals and proper coding to general ledger accounts.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.Assist in preparing weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments.Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable municate with vendors and internal staff regarding payment inquiries.Support the finance team with month-end closing tasks as needed.Assist with other accounting or administrative duties as assigned.Qualifications2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience, preferably in a professional services or engineering/construction environment.Hands-on experience with 2-way and 3-way invoice matching.Strong knowledge of AP processes and best practices.Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel.High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team pensation & ScheduleCompetitive hourly rate based on experience.Full-time, temporary position (4–6 months assignment and potential temp to hire opportunity due to growth).Standard business hours, Monday–Friday. #J-18808-Ljbffr
