We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Gastroenterology Hospitalist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of improving GI health in our community.Job Summary: The Gastroenterology Hospitalist will provide specialized care for patients with gastrointestinal disorders at Memorial Central hospital. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of GI conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.Key Responsibilities:Cover one hospital, Memorial Central.Focus on inpatient and outpatient GI procedures.Work with an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who will handle consults, follow-ups, and phone calls, allowing the hospitalist to concentrate on procedures and rounding.Round with the APPs and attest to their notes.Perform outpatient procedures on weekdays only (no weekends); typically, 6 outpatients per day.Start at 7 AM and end around 5 PM most days.Take night call from home, with rare emergent procedures requiring hospital presence.Work Schedule Options:Option 1: 7 days on, 7 days off, full 24 hours each day.Option 2: 7 daytimes on, 7 days off, no nights.Option 3: 5 days on each week, including nightsOption 4: 5 daytimes on each week, no nightsQualifications:Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.Licensed to practice medicine in Colorado.Strong clinical and procedural skills in gastroenterology.Excellent communication and teamwork mitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered petitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Professional development and continuing education opportunities.Supportive and collaborative work environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
