Job Description - LPN Neurology at Innovation TowerLicensed Practical Nurse – AdventHealth Medical Group - AHMG Neurology at Innovation TowerJob SummaryThe Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse provides clinical and clerical services, including rooming patients, assisting with exams and procedures, performing waived lab tests, starting IV’s, taking verbal orders and administering medications.Schedule: Full Time, Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pmResponsibilitiesMonitors physicians’ schedules, organizes patient care by having the patient prepared and ready on time for the physician visit.Rooms patients including vital signs, reason for visit, patient history, allergies, and completes appropriate documentation following nursing protocols.Assists the physician with examination and procedures that he/she performs.Maintains open communication to ensure quality care.Regularly audits ordered tests to ensure results are received and followed up on in a timely manner to ensure quality health care.Covers Triage calls and ensures calls are answered timely and documented appropriately.Administers IV’s and accepts physician orders by phone and verbally.QualificationsGraduate of Licensed Practical Nursing schoolCurrent, active LPN license in the state of FloridaActive BLS certificationBenefits:Benefits from Day OnePaid Days Off from Day OneWhole Person & Mental Health ResourcesOur promise to you: Joining AdventHealth is about being part of something bigger.
