SummaryThis position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) - a student loan payment reimbursement program. Residency must be approved by ACGME, AOA, or other deemed equivalent programs.Residents enrolled in ACGME/AOA programs are eligible as Physician Resident Providers (PRPs), who must be fully licensed and may only be appointed on an intermittent or fee basis.Proficiency in spoken and written English.Preferred: Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.Physical requirements include the ability to perform duties in a hospital setting, heavy lifting, reaching, use of fingers, walking, bending, and good vision and hearing.DutiesThe Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System (SAVAHCS) in Tucson, AZ, is recruiting a full-time anesthesiologist to provide high-quality anesthesia care to veterans. The facility is a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Arizona, with medical students, residents, and fellows rotating through.
