We're committed to giving children back their childhood!Job Posting Title:Staff Anesthesiologist (Frisco, TX)Location:Frisco - Ambulatory Surgical CenterAdditional Posting Details:Monday - Fridayas requiredLocation: Frisco, TX campusJob Description:Duties/ResponsibilitiesProvide medical management of patients who are unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgical, invasive, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures (involves preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative evaluation and treatment of these patients)Responsible for the medical management of anesthetic procedures and of the patient during surgical, invasive, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures following the American Society of Anesthesiologists’ guidelines for the Ethical Practice of Anesthesiology and Guidelines for Patient Care in AnesthesiologyProvide teaching/instruction for anesthesiology residents to learn and gain experience in working with the pediatric populationParticipate in a planned program for evaluation of quality and appropriateness of patient care and resolving identified problemsServe on committees and task forces as assignedParticipate in research efforts of a significant nature relevant to Scottish Rite for Children and its patientsSubject to and observe, as well as be in accordance with the Medical Staff Bylaws, rules and regulations applicable to all physicians granted privileges by Scottish RiteRequired Skills/AbilitiesLicensed to practice medicine in the State of TexasAccredited by the American Board of Anesthesiology (or foreign equivalency) and completion of a pediatric anesthesia fellowship, preferred.BLS and PALS certificationAbout UsAt Scottish Rite for Children, we work together with the common goal of helping give children back their childhood.
