This role offers the opportunity for both professional and personal growth while working with a diverse patient population, collaborating with other physicians, clinical staff, and administration.Position Details:As a Weekend/PRN Psychiatrist for Inpatient services, responsibilities include initial evaluations and assessments, as well as daily care of patients in the acute program.Qualifications:MD/DO degree from an accredited program requiredBoard certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry requiredLicensed to practice in Washington DC or the ability to obtain a DC medical licenseMeets all credentialing criteria required by participating physiciansFlexibility to see all ages as well as substance use disorderCompensation Package:We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including:Hourly rate or Fee for Service modelMalpractice insurance coverageIndependent contractor options can be considered if needed/desired.About the Facility:Psychiatric Institute of Washington provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for individuals of all ages facing mental health and addictive illnesses.
