This position is located at Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center - North Chicago - Illinois. This center is the first fully integrated federal health care facility combining Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Department of War (DoW) - specifically the United States Navy (USN) - under one command. Responsibilities Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to provide comprehensive oral maxillofacial surgery examination - consultation - treatment planning - history and physical examination - and hospital admission Core privileges including but not limited to management of cervical-facial infections - comprehensive management of oral manifestations of chronic systemic disease - repair of traumatic wounds - dentoalveolar surgery Extraction of soft and hard tissue impaction - intentional tooth replantation or transplantation - root-end resection - ridge augmentation - osseo-integrated implants and oral antral nasal fistula repair - soft tissue grafts - guided tissue regeneration - moderate and deep sedation - excision of benign and malignant tumors and cysts of the hard and soft - harvest of hard and soft tissue grafts VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package Work Schedule: Monday - Friday - 7:30AM - 4:00PM #J-18808-Ljbffr
