Job Title: Medical Director, OB/GYN - UCLA Health Take on a key leadership role within one of the nation’s top academic health systems. In this vital position, you will provide physician leadership for OB/GYN services, supporting UCLA Health’s mission to deliver high-quality, equitable care across our community practices. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the physician lead for OB/GYN services across all community practices, reporting to the Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Collaborate with clinic managers, the OB/GYN Clinical Director, and executive leadership to ensure access, continuity, and operational excellence. Partner with UCLA Health stakeholders to optimize clinic operations and ensure safe, high-quality care. Lead quality improvement initiatives, chart reviews, and strategic planning to enhance clinical quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction. Represent OB/GYN services in departmental meetings, promoting standardization and alignment with UCLA Health’s strategy. Manage relationships with local hospitals, including call coverage, delivery services, OR scheduling, and issue resolution. This role allocates 40% of time to administrative leadership and 60% to direct patient care, allowing clinical practice alongside leadership duties. The practice setting is flexible and can be adjusted based on geographic preferences within UCLA Health.
