Medical Dosimetrist (CMD)

OverviewAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting a Medical Dosimetrist to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Seattle VA Medical Center located at 1660 South Columbian Way. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers’ success as if it is their own.ResponsibilitiesPerform dosimetry functions under MDCB certificationReceive direction from VA Radiation Oncologist and/or Medical PhysicistDesign treatment plans (SRS/SRT, HyperArc, IMRT, SBRT, 2D/3D, IGRT)Assist with simulations and tumor localization (CT, MRI, PET-CT fusions)Oversee fabrication of beam-modifying and immobilization devicesImplement treatment plans and verify correct use of devicesPerform and document dosimetric calculationsSupport Medical Physicist in QA, calibration, and radiation protectionQualificationsMDCB certificationMinimum 2 years of continuous recent experienceExperience required:2 years: QA procedures documentation1 year: ACR/APEX certified healthcare system1 year: Varian TrueBeam with Rapid Arc1 year: IGRT with Cone Beam CT (TG-142 standards)3 years: Eclipse planning system, ARIA system (SRS, SRT, SBRT, IMRT modalities)3 years: GE CT Simulator (or equivalent)No sponsorship availableAll candidates must be able to:Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of forceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. #J-18808-Ljbffr
