We are seeking a skilled and dedicated OB-Hospitalist to join our dynamic women’s health team in Fort Worth, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative environment, providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic hospital-based care to a diverse patient population.Practice DetailsAnnual Deliveries:1,92496 vaginal and C-section deliveries performed by hospitalists annuallyC-Section rate:40%OB/GYN Triage Visits (annually):2,296 unscheduled visitsOBED Consults (annually):1,229 consultsNICU Level:II (in collaboration with in-house neonatologists and neonatal NPs)High-Risk Pregnancy Management:In partnership with maternal-fetal medicine specialistsKey ResponsibilitiesPerform OB triage, admissions, attend deliveries, and manage inpatient careProvide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverageCover the OB floor and handle ER consults for gynecologic emergenciesAssist in surgical procedures, including Cesarean sectionsRespond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies in Labor & DeliveryCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neonatology and MFM specialists, to deliver high-quality patient careQualificationsBoard Certified or TRULY Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology(within 5 years of residency completion)Active Texas Medical LicensePrior OB-hospitalist or high-volume obstetrics experience preferredStrong clinical skills in obstetrics, emergency GYN, and inpatient careExcellent communication and collaboration skillsKnown for its rich cultural history, vibrant downtown, and family-friendly atmosphere, Fort Worth offers the best of urban living and outdoor recreation.
