Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University including dedicated clinical trial support staffStreamlined access to academic-level cancer experts and educational opportunitiesSpecialty Tumor Boards in conjunction with the Lurie Cancer CenterInnovative care models including navigator supportAncillary support services including social work, genetic counseling, dietary support and palliative medicineLatest technology for early detection, diagnosis and treatmentIDEAL CANDIDATE:Board-certified in Medical Oncology/HematologyProven experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Medical Director or Division ChiefStrong clinical and business acumen, with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and familiesPassion for delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of oncologyKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Oncology Center of Excellence, ensuring the delivery of world-class, patient-centered careCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement innovative treatment protocols, new program development, and clinical researchProvide medical oversight and supervision of the clinical operations at the cancer centersFoster a culture of excellence, compassion, and teamwork among staff, promoting a patients-first approachProvide mentorship and support professional development for physicians in the groupDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, hospitals, and healthcare organizationsOversee the implementation of evidence-based practices, clinical quality, and safety performance, including CoC accreditation standardsStay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in oncology, applying this knowledge to drive program operations and growthWork collaboratively with the cancer service line administrator in a dyad relationship #J-18808-Ljbffr
