This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a progressive and collaborative team committed to training and developing future family practitioners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, leadership, and clinical excellence in both inpatient and outpatient settings.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Teaching & SupervisionActively teach and mentor residents and medical students in inpatient and outpatient clinical practiceOversee the education and performance of residents and medical students.Supervise outpatient prenatal care provided by residents.Participate in *Optional*inpatient rounding with residents approximately every 4–6 weeks (subject to faculty schedules)Academic Leadership & Program DevelopmentDeliver 8–12 lectures annually on key Family Medicine topics.Regularly review and enhance the residency curriculum.Lead and contribute to residency committees.Oversee quality improvement projects across the residency program.Resident Advising & Procedural SupervisionServe as an advisor and mentor, providing guidance to residents.Perform and supervise common outpatient procedures, including:Musculoskeletal proceduresDermatologic proceduresGynecologic procedures (Pap smears, contraception procedures, colposcopy)Why PIH Health:PIH Health is a nonprofit regional healthcare network with three hospitals, 100 outpatient medical offices, seven Urgent Care Centers, and a medical foundation employing over 500 physicians and mid-level providers.PIH Health offers a comprehensive range of services, including hospice care, with an unwavering focus on patient well-being and comfort.Our organization is home to more than 7,500 compassionate and dedicated employees.
